Energize and stimulate your second Chakra with this beautiful video. The Sacral Chakra is located in the lower abdomen and it’s Sanskrit name is Swadhishtana. Physical dysfunctions can manifest as lower back pain, pelvic pain, urinary problems and sciatica.
The spiritual lessons of the second Chakra have to do with creativity, manifesting your dreams, honoring relationships and learning to just “let go”.
When this chakra is too open, we may find ourselves feeling everyone else’s emotions or be over run by our own emotions. If the chakra is closed down, we may feel sluggish, out of touch with our emotions, lack luster and bored. We may also lack enthusiasm and passion in our lives.
Energize & Enjoy . . .
What inspires you? What excites you?
Enthusiasm is invigorating. It also helps to counter balance apathy, boredom and a sluggish spirit.
One way to help chase away the blahs is to surround yourself with enthusiastic people. Another is to throw yourself into your projects, goals and dreams. Hold nothing back. Reclaim your passion and enthusiasm for life.
Let the energy of life fill you and inspire you to be enthusiastic about the things that are important to you. When you are filled with enthusiasm nothing in this world seems impossible. So let your enthusiasm for life shine brightly!
thought for the day;
“Do not judge whether what you are doing is impressive or mediocre, spiritual or mundane. Just do it with enthusiasm. Just give yourself to whatever you do with full knowledge: “God is within me. All actions that I perform are an offering to him.” – Swami Chidvilasananda

thought for the day;
“The only devils in this world are those running around in our own hearts, and that is where all our battles should be fought.”
~Mahatma Gandhi
This weekend, Midsummer magic will be afoot as we celebrate Summer Solstice on June 21st. On Sunday the sun will reach the height of its strength, yet at the same moment the seed of darkness will be born as the nights grow longer and the days shorter. The celebration usually begins on Midsummer eve and continues throughout the next day.
The lady of Avalon was a wise woman and healer. In the twelfth-century the Welsh bard and prophet, Taliesin, describes her as a woman of great beauty who knew the uses of all plants in curing disease and illness. It was also said that she knew the art of magic and shape shifting.
Avalon is derived from the Welsh afal, which means apple, and Morgan le Fay it’s queen.
Midsummer Meditation
Place your hands on an apple tree and meditate on the feel of the bark. Breathe deeply and visualize going into the tree. Experience her quiet soul. Let your inner heart speak to the tree. Pay attention to any thoughts or visions which may arise within your mind.
Become the tree, let the tree absorb you, and you absorb the tree. You are not alone, you and the tree become one, a mirror of each other, a part of everything in existence. When you have finished meditating, ground yourself and give thanks to the tree. – Rose Arizmendi – The Deep Magic of Gaia
Everyday Goddessing is about sharing magical techniques and sacred wisdom with other beautiful Goddess women. I believe that within every woman there is a goddess, a wise woman, beautiful, creative, powerful, with a deep soul, and that everything we need and are looking for is already inside each of us. – Rose Arizmendi
